ELTIF Winter Market
The new ELTIF regulation became applicable on 10 January 2024. On this occasion, we invited clients to ring in the new year around this topic.
On 19 December 2023, ESMA finally published its long-awaited final report setting out the draft Regulatory Technical Standards (RTS) for the European Long-Term Investment Fund (ELTIF) regulation. It was the perfect occasion to discuss the practical implications of the draft RTS on the structuring of semi-open ELTIFs and in particular the encouraging balance struck by the draft RTS in terms of prescriptive rules and flexibility.
