Why Paris

Further strengthening our ties with our French-based clients

Opened in spring 2023, the Paris branch is up and running and the team, which assists our French and European clients on all aspects of Luxembourg law, is now fully operational.

Our Managing Partner, Manou Hoss, specifies: “As a Luxembourg and independent law firm, we offer a complete range of services in many different sectors and advise our clients worldwide on their Luxembourg law issues. We look forward to further strengthening our relationships with our French as well as our international clients and partners.”

Supporting our development ambitions

“Paris is a financial centre of excellence, close to Luxembourg and showing remarkable post-Brexit development. It now is the perfect time to take full advantage of this dynamic environment and to allow new employees to join us to support our international growth. Having a local presence in Paris is a real development asset, allowing the firm to remain closer to our French-based clients and to accompany them in their international growth,” explains Xavier Le Sourne, Partner.

Development and growth have been inherent in the DNA of the firm since 1964. We, together with the partners and colleagues in Luxembourg, strive for further expansion in France. This will occur at the level of our client’s base. This will also happen as our network of law firms grows.

Elvinger Hoss Prussen will continue to identify new talent for the Paris office, who are the core value and first source of our firm's development.

A dedicated team in Paris

Our Partner, Xavier Le Sourne, who led the development of our Hong Kong office from 2015 to 2022, now heads our Paris office.

He has strong experience on investment fund structuring and collective asset management and advises numerous regulated and non-regulated financial institutions in relation to the setup of their Luxembourg investment funds, acquisition structures and management platforms.

The team, based in rue Jean Giraudoux in Paris (16), is composed of members who have a shared vision to assist asset managers to further develop internationally. These members are highly motivated lawyers, fully dedicated to promoting Luxembourg law. They bring with them the support of team members with specialist technical knowledge in the fields of IT and data analysis, for example.
