ALFI Roadshow to Asia

During the ALFI Roadshow to Asia in Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo from 29 January – 2 February, Partner Charlotte Chen moderated a panel on “Retailisation of private assets: New opportunities offered by Luxembourg funds”.

In addition to Charlotte Chen our delegation in Hong Kong was comprised of Partner Gast Juncker and Associates Dimitri Cuvelier, Clémentine Grasset, Emmeline Pireaux and Aline Sun.

Luxembourg fund industry representatives presented seminars and discussions with their peers on a broad range of asset management topics. These reached from insights into the latest developments in the world of UCITS, that time-tested brand serving as a multi-purpose solution for investors around the globe, to the specificities of distributing AIFs – providing access to real assets and private markets. Understand the differences between ESG approaches in Europe and Asia both in theory and practice, and find out how technological innovation can revolutionise fund operations.

ALFI roadshows are free seminars in major financial centres around the world that target professionals across the entire asset management and investment fund value chain. They combine two key goals: updating local investment fund communities on the latest developments in the European and Luxembourg fund markets, and providing a forum to network and explore opportunities for increased cooperation, helping to attract new business and to provide Luxembourg funds with better access to markets abroad.
