Experienced regulatory/financial services specialist

We are seeking an experienced regulatory/financial services specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting our clients, which are local and international banks and banking groups, MiFID firms, and professionals of the financial sector, payment service providers and e-money institutions, in all type of Luxembourg legal and regulatory matters.

Your responsabilities:

• Assisting our clients with the overall day-to-day compliance with all applicable laws and regulations to which they are subject to as regulated entities;
• Helping our clients with the establishment and the overall license application process to become duly licensed credit institutions, MiFID firms, payment institutions/e-money institutions, professionals of the financial sector;
• Assist our client in connection with winding-down, liquidation, resolution, license return procedures/processes;
• Provide legal advice in CRD/CRR, MiFID, PSD, IFD/IFR related matters;
• Assist our clients with the overall compliance with the applicable AML/CFT and sanctions related framework (including the drafting of AML/CFT procedures, processes);
• Support our clients in connection with any CSSF CRD/AML/MiFID on-site inspections and potential subsequent sanction procedures.

 Your profile:

• A strong understanding of the legal and regulatory requirements applicable to our clients (regulated entities);
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role within a consulting or law firm or a similar position in the financial sector;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;
• Ability to pay attention to details and work rigorously;
• Hold a degree in law and preferably admitted to the Luxembourg bar;
• Fluency in English and French, German will be considered as an asset
