AIJA joint M&A and arbitration winter seminar

The Corporate / M&A and the International Arbitration Commissions of the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA) organised the joint M&A and Arbitration Winter Seminar 2023 in the center of the Alps in Davos, Switzerland. 

The seminar provided the unique opportunity to look at M&A contracts and M&A disputes from the perspective of both corporate and dispute resolution lawyers. The expertise of these two fields of practice examined which M&A contract clauses work best, to avoid pitfalls and benefit from sample clauses drafted during the seminar. Furthermore, participants will have the chance to also improve their soft skills.

Senior Associate, Jean-Bernard Spinoit was a panellist in a discussion entitled "M&A - A clever person solves a problem. A wise person avoids it.", which looked at critical issues in the governance of JV companies and how to avoid and get out of deadlock situations.
