ALFI Digi Pulse Asia 2021

From 24 to 26 February, Partner Gast Juncker was co-presenter of a regulatory update on asset management comprising the impact of Brexit on delegation and distribution models of Asian managers, the AIFMD review, ESG and practical aspects of SFDR for asset managers as well as new requirements on AML impacting distribution in Asia.

The regulatory update was part of Digi Pulse Asia 2021, a virtual conference organised by ALFI (Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry).

The other conference  highlights included an interview with the Luxembourg Minister of Finance and the head of investment funds at the Luxembourg regulator CSSF. A special session on practical ESG implications in asset management and a regional overview of Luxembourg solutions for Asian asset managers and investors rounded off the programme.
