„Trash ratio“ : CSSF confirms ESMA Opinion

Since our Newsflash of 21 November 2012 on the captioned subject, the CSSF published a Press Release 12/46 drawing the attention to ESMA's Opinion. 

The CSSF confirms the 31 December 2013 deadline of compliance by UCITS who currently hold investments in such assets but also underlines that, with immediate effect, new investments in such assets within the framework of the trash ratio are no longer permitted.
