Conference on the Protection of Whistleblowers

Elvinger Hoss Prussen participated in MEETINCS' conference on the protection of whistleblowers on 8 February in Luxembourg. Partner Pierre Elvinger presented a session on 'Whistleblower options: reporting mechanisms with variable geometry?'. 

The recent law of 16 May 2023 on the protection of whistleblowers aims to provide effective and balanced protection for whistleblowers, clearly denying them rights and obligations. Its objective is to reduce the legal uncertainties they currently face, thereby respect for the rule of law. The law applies to whistleblowers working in the private or public sector who have obtained information on breaches in a professional setting.
