EELA-ERA annual seminar on European Labour Law 2024

The Academy of European Law (ERA) and the European Employment Lawyers Association (EELA) jointly organised their annual seminar on European Labour Law 2024, which took place on 22 November in Brussels, Belgium. 

A key highlight of the seminar was the panel on the platform work Directive addressing its scope, core elements and practical elements. Partner Pierre Elvinger, a member of the EELA board, contributed as a speaker on this pivotal topic. 

The seminar provided participants with an in-depth update on the latest CJEU case law and fostered discussions on pressing topics of European labour law. Other agenda items included recent CJEU case law on labour law matters, data protection issues in whistleblowing, and religious freedom in the workplace.
