ERA Annual Conference on European Company Law and Corporate Governance 2024

Elvinger Hoss Prussen participated in the Annual Conference on European Company Law and Corporate Governance on 7 and 8 March 2024. The conference organised by ERA (Academy of European Law) updated legal practitioners on the latest trends and current issues in European company law and corporate governance.

The key topics included: new European Commission proposal on expanding and upgrading the use of digital tools and processes in company law, challenges in the implementation of the Directive on takeover bids, use of AI in corporate governance etc.

Partner Philippe Hoss, hosted a session ‘Challenges of the implementation of the Directive on takeover bids in practice: Luxembourgish and Spanish perspectives’ to conclude the first day of the conference.
