Advertising/marketing and personal data protection
The Advertising Council of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg (CPL) and the Commission for Ethics in Advertising (CLEP) have launched a series of Masterclasses in collaboration with Elvinger Hoss Prussen.
In this context, on 27 September 2022, Partner Linda Funck and Counsel Emmanuèle de Dampierre gave a presentation on the theme "Advertising/marketing and protection of personal data". The audience was composed of marketing directors, advertising agencies, broadcasters and advertisers. First, Linda Funck and Emmanuèle de Dampierre gave a general review of the principles relating to data protection. They then focused on concrete applications and the reflexes to adopt on marketing and advertising practices.
Within the same series, Partner Gary Cywie will present the legal framework applicable to the use of cookies in early 2023.
