Experienced regulatory asset management specialist/lawyer

We are seeking to grow our team in charge of regulatory matters for the asset management industry with experienced and junior members. You will be assisting our clients (management companies, AIFMs, and other professionals of the financial sector, such as UCI administrators or depositaries) in all regulatory matters and AML/CFT.

Your responsabilities:

• Assisting our clients with the overall day-to-day legal and regulatory work and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations;
• Assisting our clients with the establishment and the overall license application process to become duly licensed management companies, AIFM or professionals of the financial sector;
• Assisting our clients regarding the implementation of any laws and regulations such as ESG, DORA…, assisting them in the context of their discussions with the regulators and reviewing contractual arrangements;
• Assisting our clients in connection with any authority investigations and potential subsequent sanction procedures.

Your profile:

• A strong understanding of the legal and regulatory requirements applicable to our clients (regulated entities);
• 1 to 4 years of experience in a similar role within a consulting or law firm or a similar position in the financial sector;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;
• Ability to pay attention to details and work rigorously;
• Hold a degree in law and preferably admitted to the Luxembourg bar (or any bar within the EU);
• Fluency in English and French.
