Memo and legal texts concerning specialised investment funds („SIF“)

This brochure contains:

• a memo which gives an overview of the key features of a specialised investment funds ("SIF") and outlines the main changes brought to the SIF regime further to the entry into force of the Luxembourg AIFM Law (i.e. the Law of 12 July 2013 which implements Directive 2011/61/EU on Alternative Investment Fund Managers). The impact of the EuVECA and EuSEF Regulations is also highlighted;
• the amended Law of 13 February 2007 on specialised investment funds in French and in English; and
• the Regulations and Circulars relating thereto in French and in English.

Cette brochure contient:

• un mémo rédigé en anglais donnant un aperçu des caractéristiques principales d’un fonds d’investissement spécialisé (« FIS ») et présentant les principaux changements apportés au régime des FIS suite à l’entrée en vigueur de la loi GFIA luxembourgeoise (c.-à-d. la loi du 12 juillet 2013 portant transposition de la directive 2011/61/UE sur les gestionnaires de fonds d’investissement alternatifs). Ce mémo présente également les conséquences des règlements relatifs aux fonds de capital-risque européens et aux fonds d’entrepreneuriat social européens ;
• la loi modifiée du 13 février 2007 relative aux fonds d’investissement spécialisés en français et en anglais ; et
• les règlements et les circulaires y relatifs en français et en anglais.
