Visit to the Court of Justice of the European Union with ELSA

The Employment Law Specialists Association Luxembourg (ELSA), chaired by Partner Pierre Elvinger as President, organised a visit to the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) on Friday, 8 November 2024. Senior Associate and an active member of ELSA, Filipe Ferreira Vilas Boas, also participated in the visit. This initiative offered a unique opportunity to gain firsthand insights into the operations of this chief judicial body of the European Union. During the visit the members of the association met with François Biltgen, Judge at the CJEU and President of the First Chamber, who shared an engaging overview of the Court’s working process and highlighted significant employment law cases, illustrating their impact on European legal practice.
