EFAMA webinar - Liquidity in Focus: New LMT Rules for UCITS & AIFs Explained

Elvinger Hoss Prussen, together with EFAMA (European Fund and Asset Management Association), organised the webinar "Liquidity in Focus: New LMT Rules for UCITS & AIFs Explained" that took place online on 22 January, from 10.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. (CET). 

One of the novelties introduced by the AIFMD and UCITS review is the harmonised regime for the selection and use of LMTs by UCITS and open-ended AIFs. The session discussed the opportunities and challenges posed by the LMTs regime, including the recently published technical standards on LMT characteristics and the ESMA guidelines on determining and calibrating LMTs. Our Partner Frédérique Lifrange addressed these new obligations, concentrating on a selection of the most challenging elements for AIFs, and our Partner Yves Elvinger addressed the topic from the perspective of UCITS.
