Elvinger Hoss Prussen advised Azimut Investment S.A. and BNP Paribas’s Securities Services business in connection with the first phase of a joined blockchain initiative, through the tokenisation of units in one of Azimut’s Luxembourg reserved alternative investment funds (RAIF). The objective of this new initiative has been to evaluate the distributed ledger technology (DLT) efficiency in processing dealing operations. The model aims to facilitate the processing of transfer orders between investors in Azimut Funds on a blockchain ecosystem offered by Allfunds Blockchain.
The team was led by partners Sophie Dupin (Regulatory Asset Management), Gary Cywie (Technology) and Yves Elvinger (Asset Management and Investment Funds).
