Olivia Moessner’s practice concentrates on collective asset management and investment funds.
Olivia advises a number of investment fund promoters and other financial institutions in relation to the set-up and structuring of their Luxembourg investment fund operations. Her practice encompasses a broad range of investment funds (UCITS, ELTIFs, Part II funds, SIFs and RAIFs) implementing various liquid and semi-liquid investments strategies.
Career and memberships
Co-chair of ALFI (European Fund and Asset Management Association) UCITS eligible assets and money market funds working groups, and member of numerous working groups of within ALFI and EFAMA (European Fund and Asset Management Association) focusing on key European topics such as ELTIFs, ETFs, pension funds, SFTR and PRIIPs.
Adjunct lecturer at the University of Luxembourg, Master in Investment Funds Law.
Regular Speaker at conferences.
Member of the Luxembourg Bar since 2001.
Education
DESS (diplôme d’études supérieures spécialisées) in European business law from the Faculté Jean Monnet of the Université de Paris-Sud (France) where she presented a paper on European cross-border mergers.
Master’s degree in European law from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium).
Maîtrise en droit from the Université Robert Schuman in Strasbourg (France).
