Olivia Moessner’s practice concentrates on collective asset management and investment funds.
Olivia advises a number of investment fund promoters and other financial institutions in relation to the set-up and structuring of their Luxembourg investment fund operations. Her practice encompasses a broad range of investment funds (UCITS, UCIs, SIFs and RAIFs) implementing various investments strategies including hedge fund strategies.
Career and memberships
Member of numerous working groups of ALFI (Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry) and EFAMA (European Fund and Asset Management Association) on various key European topics such as UCITS eligible assets, SFTR, ETFs, PRIIPs, ELTIFs, pension funds and is also co-chair of the money market funds ALFI working groups.
Member of the Luxembourg Bar since 2001.
Education
DESS (diplôme d’études supérieures spécialisées) in European business law from the Faculté Jean Monnet of the Université de Paris-Sud (France) where she presented a paper on European cross-border mergers.
Master’s degree in European law from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium).
Maîtrise en droit from the Université Robert Schuman in Strasbourg (France).
