Sophie Bronkart’s practice concentrates on collective asset management and investment funds. Sophie’s principal field of activity is the structuring and formation of private equity, debt and real estate funds under the form of regulated or non-regulated vehicles. She also acts on all aspects of the alternative investment funds, including investment management, advisory issues, transactions and financing thereof.
Sophie Bronkart has also acted on corporate law, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, financing and securities law and corporate restructuring and advised a number of private equity firms and other financial institutions.
Career and memberships
Prior to joining the firm, Sophie worked for seven years in two Luxembourg law firms (including a Magic circle law firm) on corporate matters, including cross-border mergers and acquisitions.
Member of the Luxembourg Bar since 1999.
Education
Licence en droit from the Université de Liège (Belgium).
