Space Resources Week 2023

The fifth edition of Space Resources Week took place between 19 and 21 April 2023 as a 3-day hybrid conference connecting thought leaders from space agencies, research institutes, start-ups, and industry (both terrestrial and space), and welcomed 450 people on-site and 800 followed the event online.

The Space Resources Week focused on the synergies required for the development of an inclusive space resources utilisation ecosystem, as well as on ways of accelerating the use of space for the benefit of humankind. This annual event brought together our multidisciplinary community to exchange and identify opportunities for synergy across the truly dynamic field of space resources.

As part of Space Resources Week, Partner Karl Pardaens took part in a Space Mining Roundtable discussion at LuxExpo on 21 April. The discussion aimed to give an understanding of legal aspects for establishing cross-sectoral and international ventures for in-situ resource utilisation.
