Elvinger Hoss Prussen represented Ambienta, one of Europe's leading asset managers solely focused on environmental sustainability investing, as to matters of Luxembourg law in launching one of the largest Article 9 continuation funds with €500+ million in size, Ambienta Water Pumps, SCSp (the “Fund”).
The Fund, together with Ambienta IV, acquired platform company Wateralia, a leading global player in the design, engineering and manufacturing of water pumps for the integrated water cycle. The Fund’s strategy exploits the exponential demand for resilient and supportive water infrastructure and systems. It targets sustainable investments in accordance with Article 9 of SFDR in water pumps sector, which is steadily expanding and projected to reach $45 billion by 2029.
The investment funds team was led by partner Thibaut Partsch alongside Senior Associate Loren Jolly, Associate Sara Kobal and Associate Deniz Aktas and tax team by partner Nadège Le Gouellec alongside Associate Loïc Untereiner.
