Elvinger Hoss Prussen advised on the issuance of Bonds by the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg

On 16 March 2026, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg issued a EUR 2.5 billion bond aimed at institutional investors, providing the Luxembourg government with additional liquidity. Markets reacted positively to the issuance of the Bonds, with an oversubscription.

The Bonds will be listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange. 

Elvinger Hoss Prussen advised Barclays Bank Ireland PLC, BGL BNP Paribas, Citibank Europe plc, Société Générale and Spuerkeess as joint lead managers on this transaction and implemented the bond issuance by the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

The Elvinger Hoss Prussen team was composed of partner Philippe Hoss, senior associate Ben Reckinger and associate Camie Davin. The team also assisted in Luxembourg's previous bond issuance in September 2025
