Crossborder Distribution Conference New York

Elvinger Hoss Prussen and Deloitte Luxembourg brought the prominent annual Crossborder Distribution Conference from Luxembourg to the US for the first time! The conference was followed by a cocktail reception at the prestigious Metropolitan Club in New York.

Partner Joachim Cour moderated the panel "Part II Funds and ELTIF 2.0: Opening private strategies to non-professional investors – opportunities and challenges ahead" with speakers from US-based asset managers with Luxembourg Part II funds including KKR and Hamilton Lane.
This panel discussed key changes, opportunities and challenges around both structures: how can asset managers take advantage of both vehicles to broaden the distribution of their strategies? 

Partner Jérôme Wigny participated in a panel discussion on "AIFM solutions: How to benefit from both a management and a marketing passport across the EU/European Economic Area" which included speakers from US-based asset managers with Luxembourg AIFMs, including Blackstone.
This panel discussed the main practical, regulatory and tax considerations of setting up and running your AIFM in Luxembourg. 

This event was a great opportunity to connect and gain valuable insights from peers and experts.
