Diversity in all its aspects is core to Elvinger Hoss Prussen’s values and to our development strategy. We do believe that including cultural diversity in our work environment contributes to creating a positive impact across every aspect of our business.
Through our partnership with Mudam, the Contemporary Art Museum of Luxembourg, we aim to facilitate access to art for our members.
This partnership has been reinforced between the Mudam and Elvinger Hoss Prussen, as in 2023 we became a patron through the donation of the artwork “The Flood” by the Luxembourg artist Su-Mei Tse, winner of the Golden Lion at the Venice Biennale 2003.
This particular piece of artwork was chosen in support of the victims of the floods that devastated Luxembourg in the Summer of 2021. “The Flood” was created using pieces Su-Mei Tse’s personal collection that were damaged by the floods. Through this artwork, she was able to create something beautiful and positive out of this natural disaster.
It is in this spirit of support and memory that Elvinger Hoss Prussen decided to acquire this artwork and to donate it to Mudam in the continuity of our partnership.
During an exclusive event in September 2023, held in the auditorium of Mudam, representatives of our firm together with the artist Su-Mei Tse, the director of Mudam, Bettina Steinbrügge, and the co-owner of the Luxembourg gallery Nosbaum Reding, Alex Reding, underlined our collective patronage with an intensive exchange of views about the artwork and the motives for the collaboration.
"Temporarily planned as a reflection and inspiration opportunity for our members during Covid, we are very pleased that our Mudam initiative has become a permanent part of our membership programme through this patronage. For us, cultural diversity and the possibility to participate in cultural life are important unifying elements of our society that we want to support and promote." Manou Hoss, Managing Partner at Elvinger Hoss Prussen
