Elvinger Hoss Prussen advised IMDEX Limited, a leading global mining technology company that develops drilling optimization products and data solutions for the mining industry, on the acquisition of Advanced Logic Technology (ALT) and its subsidiary Mount Sopris Instrument Company, Inc. (MSI).
ALT is a Luxembourg-based global leader in high-performance downhole rock property sensor systems and geoscience data processing software, anchored by the industry standard WellCAD software package. ALT holds a majority stake in MSI, a US-based leading developer of downhole rock property sensors, deployment and telemetry systems. As part of the transaction, IMDEX will acquire, through ALT, the remaining shares of MSI from the current MSI minority shareholders. Completion of the transaction is subject to customary closing conditions.
