Exchange traded funds - ETFs

Exchange traded funds (ETFs) are traded on at least one stock exchange or similar venue. Passively managed (or index tracking) ETFs track an index, while actively managed ETFs are managed on a discretionary basis. ETF structures are generally known for their diversification, liquidity, transparency and low total expense ratios. UCITS and alternative investment funds (AIFs) can be structured as ETFs.
