The annual report also shows our firm as one of the leading law firms in the Luxembourg asset management industry in terms of net assets and the firm of choice for approximately one third of Luxembourg investment funds having appointed a legal advisor.

Leading the Regulated Market Share 

According to Monterey Insight 2024, Elvinger Hoss Prussen acted as legal adviser to 3.585 Luxembourg regulated funds with 1,887 billion USD net assets representing 36.15% of the total regulated assets and 30.31% of the number of Luxembourg regulated funds that have appointed a legal adviser, making our firm the market leader in Luxembourg.

Unregulated Market Share

Elvinger Hoss Prussen acted as legal adviser to 1,070 Luxembourg unregulated funds with 236 billion USD net assets representing 17.51% of the total unregulated assets and 20.56% of the number of Luxembourg unregulated funds that have appointed a legal adviser, an increase of 0.86% over 2022.

Combined Market Share

According to Monterey Insight, as at 31 December 2023, Elvinger Hoss Prussen acted as legal adviser to 4,689 Luxembourg funds or compartments thereof with 2,128 billion USD net assets representing 32.31% of the net assets and 27.37% of the number of Luxembourg funds that have appointed a legal adviser.

Furthermore, as at 31 December 2023, Elvinger Hoss Prussen advised 362 Luxembourg funds or compartments thereof sponsored or established by a sponsor of US origin with more than 810 billion USD net assets representing 38.17% of the net assets that have appointed a legal adviser.
